The role played by doggers in the development of the pastoral industry, Aboriginal reserves and missions is described. Reg (R.M.) Williams, Stan Ferguson, Alan Brumby, Harold Brown, Paddy De Conlay and Victor Dumas were doggers in the 1920’s and 30’s.
